I would be… careful with this. The short answer is no, you shouldn’t. The long answer is consent and types of consent are a delicate and nuanced thing. The sort of consent she gave you would be like if I – someone who is incredibly dairy intolerant – asked my friend to pick any restaurant they wanted. I would trust my friend to pick a place so I could get food I could eat. When she said she would tattoo anything you did, it was from a place of trust with you. Keep in mind I am not accusing you of anything or saying you are malicious. When she asked you to design a tattoo for her, it was for her.
I understand where you’re coming from and that you don’t mean anything inappropriate with this. When your friend gave you the power of carte blanche putting anything permanently on her body, that came from a position of trust. The tattoo is going on her body, it is going to be part of her identity. Even if she is bi or a lesbian, you seem to want to include something about your identity and your desire for her more than traits that she has. If you would like me to give you some floriography suggestions based on her personality traits I will totes help. As is, please don’t include a secret ownership brand based on your crush on her. Also, please talk to folks in the community who can help you get a better understanding of appropriate behavior in these circumstances.
