DIY Harry Potter Moaning Myrtle Christmas Decoration

This is officially my favorite DIY Christmas Decoration of the season… and it’s perfect for the often undecorated “room of requirement” i.e. bathroom.

This is a gift for the Harry Potter Fan who has everything – but they don’t have a Moaning Myrtle Light Up Bathroom Christmas Tree decorated with toilet paper bows and Q Tip ornaments.

Harry Potter Hogwarts Dinner Party – 3 Part Series from Food in Literature.

This is the most amazing, detailed and jaw dropping Harry Potter party I’ve ever seen.  Bryt has created an entire immersible experience around a Harry Potter Hogwarts Dinner Party.

No detail has been over looked from the starry ceiling, potions, portraits, books, newspapers, Herbology Lab, recipes/food, Dobby and much much more. Plus she has posts on how and where everything came from.

One thing I like about Harry Potter is the realistic portrayal of the professors. There are some horrible ones, but generally speaking even Snape has his students’ backs in the end. The difference between the good and bad teachers was apathy. Snape was a jerk at times but no one could ever say he wasn’t super into teaching kids to make potions. And whether or not the big three enjoyed Snape’s company they could all make potions when he was done with them.
